Distribution and Warehouse Operations conglomerate across the medical supplies, retail and food verticals, seeks Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with 10 years financial leadership or CFO experience within a distribution, manufacturing or warehouse environment ($75ml revenue companies preferred), with strong accounting acumen from a distribution or similar environment – to lead end-to-end finance, accounting, treasury, FP&A, forecasting, risk, cost analysis, and operational strategy for the company. We're looking for a strong accounting focused CFO with solid ternures who thinks and acts like an owner of the business, with strategic mindset who has the ability to design, operate, and continually improve the systems, controls, reporting and talent infrastructure of a company. The role will report into the Chief Executive Officer and company ownership, as will be an integral part of the senior leadership team, helping build the financial, operational, and people infrastructure required to support the long-term growth trajectory of the business.


The successful candidate must have demonstrated financial leadership experience in a distribution, manufacturing or similar business, with strong accounting experience and a deep understanding of balance sheet, profit & loss, GAAP standards, forecasting from actual, and experience managing operational budgets and strategy aligned with company objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Create and enforce budgeting process, cash forecasting, and capital allocation.
  • Develop and maintain unit economics by customer, channel, SKU, warehouse, and sales representative.
  • Deliver monthly business reviews and a weekly operating scorecard that informs leadership decision-making.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear financial targets aligned with the company's operating cadence and EOS framework.
  • Manage cash, banking relationships, lines of credit, term debt, and any asset-based or factoring arrangements.
  • Drive working capital performance across receivables, payables, and inventory in coordination with operational leaders.
  • Lead capital structure planning to support continued growth, including debt and equity considerations and acquisition financing.
  • Serve as executive owner of the company's ERP environment, including configuration, customization, and roadmap.
  • Build and govern the company's business intelligence and reporting infrastructure to enable real-time, data-informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Maintain the enterprise risk register, business continuity plan, and disaster recovery framework across all locations.
  • Establish the contract review framework and manage litigation in coordination with outside counsel.
  • Recruit, lead, build out and develop members of the Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources teams.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
  • Masters/ MBA in Accounting or Finance, CPA or similar qualification preferred.
  • 10 years Financial Leadership or CFO experience in the distribution, manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Experience establishing and developing financial reporting strategy, processes and controls in a growing organization or group of companies.
  • Direct experience in B2B distribution, healthcare, supply chain, or a comparable industry
  • Experience in imports, private label, or contract manufacturing finance such as terms and negotiations with overseas vendors across dozens of countries.
  • Experience operating in a multi-warehouse, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong team manager.
