Nyle Water Heating Systems (NWHS - www.heatwater.com) is an innovative, rapidly growing leader in the Heat Pump Water Heating industry. We develop, manufacture, market and sell heat pump water heaters for commercial applications such as multi-family and commercial buildings. NWHS is a subsidiary of Nyle Systems, a company with 40 years of history in industrial heat pump applications. Nyle Water Heating System’s manufacturing and design operations are in Bangor, Maine.
Job Requirements:
Receiving
- Properly account for the location of incoming goods
- Inspect for damaged items when receiving and file freight claims accordingly
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products and quantities in each delivery match the packing list
- Update product inventory in the ERP system as parts are received
- Package products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary
Shipping
- Prepare products for shipping (both LTL and FTL), obtaining competitive shipping quotes and coordinating pick-up and delivery details with carriers.
- Creating various shipping paperwork including BOL, Commercial Invoices, Export / Import documentation, etc.
- Process Sales Order shipments out of the ERP system.
- Communicate with Sales, Production, and Customer Service on status of current and future shipments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year(s) of prior experience in a Shipping or Receiving role
- Knowledge of refrigeration, electro-mechanical, electronic parts and industrial gases is a plus
- Be self-motivated and push tasks forward with little direction from others
- Ability to be precise and organized is required
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Forklift experience required
