Position Overview:We are seeking an Accountant – Manufacturing to play a key role in our accounting and financial operations. This position goes beyond day-to-day bookkeeping and is well-suited for an experienced accounting professional who wants broader responsibility, increased ownership, and a path for professional growth within a manufacturing environment.
This role works closely with company leadership and has increasing exposure to financial reporting, controls, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, employee benefits, and cost/inventory accounting.
- Track all financial transactions within our ERP system (Global Shop Solutions).
- Assist with inventory, COGS, and manufacturing cost accounting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial and tax regulations.
- Serve as liaison to external accounting and tax professionals.
- Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of experience in a small to mid-sized company, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting serving manufacturing clients.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Prior experience working with ERP or MRP systems is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to integrity.
- Able to work independently or collaboratively and take ownership of outcomes.
- Interest in growing responsibility and long-term professional development
