In this role, you will work as a member of a fast-moving integration team to design, develop, and integrate Kubernetes-hosted services, built from a mix of commercial and government-sourced tools, to support cyber threat information sharing missions. You will build and optimize enterprise dataflows using Apache NiFi, automate workflows via Python, Java, and Bash, and leverage modern Cloud Service Providers (AWS and Azure) while mastering enterprise-level cyber standards like Oasis STIX and TAXII.
Location & Work Environment
The annual base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $196,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

- Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
- Work Style: On-site initially, with excellent flexibility! This position will be eligible for telework once the candidate is integrated into the team.

Required Skills
- Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly
- Service Integration: Exceptional technical skills combining, configuring, and deploying complex systems.
- Data Flow Optimization: Strong operational understanding of enterprise data orchestration services like Apache NiFi.
- Cloud Architecture: Practical knowledge of foundational Cloud Service Provider ecosystems, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Automation & Scripting: Professional working knowledge using Python, Java, and Bash scripting to automate infrastructure workflows.
- Containerization: Proficiency in Kubernetes configuration, containerization, orchestration, and scaling.
- Cyber Standards: Strong familiarity with Oasis STIX and TAXII data threat standards.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a software/systems engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Substitution: Four (4) years of additional engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 14 years of experience).
