Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-time (priority given to those who can work Full-Time)
Start Date: July/August 2026 (open due to a valued hygienist’s retirement)
About Dr. Nykamp’s Office
We are a patient-centered, privately owned dental practice with a long-standing reputation for quality care and a supportive, team-oriented environment. With one of our wonderful hygienists retiring, we’re looking for a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team and continue our tradition of exceptional care. Our office is open Mondays-Thursdays.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients of all ages
- Collaborate closely with our dentist and clinical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient office culture
What We’re Looking For
- Current Michigan RDH license
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Experience with digital charting and modern dental technology (preferred but not required)
