Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! As part of the hiring process, candidates will be required to complete a hands-on physical assessment to demonstrate their maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues to determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Complete routine repairs and maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Assist with construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects while maintaining safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and facilities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• General knowledge of carpentry, repair, and facility maintenance practices.
• Welding knowledge and experience are helpful.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Technical certifications or vocational training are a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Must provide own basic maintenance tools.
• Yearly tool allowance available.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or awkward spaces.
• Must be able to safely work at heights up to 25 feet indoors and up to 35 feet on rooftops while following all safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
