Assistant Superintendent / Journeyman Carpenter

Fast growing Commercial General Contractor immediately seeking to hire full-time Assistant Superintendent/Journeyman Carpenter to work primarily in the Sacramento area but is willing to travel for short periods if required.

Rough and finish carpentry skills are required. Must own basic hand tools. Commercial metal framing experience and other trade skills a plus. Pay scale commensurate with experience. Must pass a drug screen and background check, have a valid driver's license, and provide a current DMV driving record. Ideally a successful candidate with Nyecon Inc. would have the following experience:

Experience working as part of a crew while maintaining supervisory obligations

Experience creating field RFI’s with suggested responses

Experience with design/build commercial projects

Experience w/ daily and weekly reporting

Ability to read and comprehend plans

Ability to continually lift more than 50lbs throughout the workday

Experience with wood framing including structural and seismic work

Experience with metal framing including layout from start to finish.

Experience with structural concrete forming, rebar, epoxy dowels, place and finish

Experience with site work including concrete forming, place and finish

Experience w/ commercial door, frame and hardware installation

Drywall installation and finishing experience

Equipment training/certification i.e. Scissor Lift, Forklift, Boom Lift, Skid Steer, Excavator, etc.

Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, and Project

Experience with Procore management software
