Dishwasher - Full Time Day Shift - Full-Time 1st Shift

Join our culinary team as a Full-Time Day Shift Dishwasher! Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for our residents while enjoying consistent daytime hours and being part of a supportive team. No experience is required—we’ll provide the training you need to succeed!

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment. This position supports the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment while following all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Put away clean dishes and supplies in their designated locations.
• Remove trash and recycling and clean waste containers as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors and clean work surfaces according to established schedules.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.
• Support the culinary team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing, food service, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must meet all applicable employment, health, and background requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with assistance when needed.
• Ability to work around heat, steam, water, cleaning products, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and handling dishes and kitchen equipment.
