About the Role
A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking Assembly Technicians to support the production of structural aircraft components. This role involves assembling complex parts and subassemblies used across multiple sections of aircraft, including wings, fuselage structures, and interior components. The position offers opportunities for growth across Level 1 to Journey-level technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform assembly operations with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
· Assemble structural components, subassemblies, and units using blueprints and specifications
· Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to complete assembly tasks
· Drill, fasten, and install components such as brackets, hinges, and clips
· Align and position parts using jigs, fixtures, and measuring instruments
· Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, fit, and compliance with standards
· Cut, trim, and prepare parts to meet required tolerances
· Apply sealants or coatings per specifications
· Install bushings and hardware using appropriate tools and methods
· Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and work instructions
· Identify production issues and communicate them to supervisors with recommended solutions
· Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow 5S principles
· Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
· Meet production timelines and quality standards with minimal supervision
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality
· Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
· At least 1 year of assembly experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
· Basic shop math skills
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
· Successful completion of an aptitude test during the hiring process
Work Schedule Options:
· Monday – Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
· Weekend Shifts (Fri–Sun): 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
