The selected Applications Engineer must reside in the Twin Cities metro area or surrounding area as a Relocation Package is not offered for this position.
Highlights
- Provide technical sales and application support for electric linear motion products.
- Assist customers, distributors, and sales personnel with product selection, sizing, installation, and troubleshooting of electric actuators, motors, and drives.
- Perform engineering calculations related to motion dynamics, system requirements, and application performance.
- Recommend product solutions based on customer application requirements and operating conditions.
- Deliver product training, technical presentations, and application guidance to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Service to support customer success and business objectives.
- Maintain current knowledge of products, motion control technologies, and industry trends.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, product application support, and internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Engineering Degree.
- Functional knowledge of electrical controls, motors, drives, and motion control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and application requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and engineering-related software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Annual Salary Rate: $75,000 to $85,000 (Depending on Experience) and a complete benefits package and other great perks.
