Quality Technician Job Description
Support product inspection, audits, and quality system compliance. This role helps ensure products meet internal standards and customer expectations while supporting cross-functional teams in Quality, Engineering, and Production.
- Perform Quality Assurance Inspections using measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes, comparators, pin gages, Keyence comparators etc. to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform cleanliness (Millipore) testing and MgO density inspections.
- Conduct cleanliness and density testing according to engineering specifications.
- Complete quality audits, verify process adherence and identify non-conforming material.
- Record inspection results and create reports, including Pareto charts, to support continuous improvement.
- Evaluate returned products, perform initial failure analysis, and complete related ERP (SAP) transactions.
- Maintain customer warranty data and communicate disposition results.
- Load quality inspection plans into the ERP system and perform receiving inspections.
- Assist with sorting, quarantine activities, and dock audits.
Qualifications
- Technical/vocational training or high school diploma with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 1–3 years of experience with print reading and basic inspection equipment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GD&T, and standard metrology tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Teams/SharePoint, Outlook, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and accurate record‑keeping.·Visa sponsorship- Not authorized for this position.

Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $27.00 (DOQ)
