Developer / Builder seeks executive with strong ground up NYC construction experience, preferably in affordable, market rate and luxury residential. This role calls for full spectrum experience managing projects from design through to close out, but will require a keen eye primarily on the early design and planning phases of a project, to include design review, procurement, scheduling, logistics planning, permitting, budgeting, etc...
Your background will provide you the expertise to review design for constructability, to be the primary point person for architects, engineers, internal operations teams, and clients (on occasion the company builds for third party clients). You will understand how to navigate building codes, zoning regulations, and have exposure to union / nonunion labor requirements. You will have the technical expertise to align predicted schedule with cost.
This role calls for a leader in Real Estate & Construction who has built for Developers / Owners, closely handling early strategic planning, and technical oversight of schematic design through to shovel in ground.
Salary depends on experience, but we are targeting candidates in the 250k range, with some opportunity for bonus, plus benefits, pto, and growth potential.
