Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Agency Attorney position located in New York, NY. The Agency Attorney will perform legal research, provide legal advice to various departments, and draft contracts and other legal documents. Additional responsibilities include handling labor and employment law matters, negotiating on behalf of the agency, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and Labor and Employment Law
- Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting Legal Research
- Experience in conducting Negotiations and resolving legal disputes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing
- Previous experience in government or public sector roles is a plus
