Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deckhand to join our team. As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel. You will assist with various duties including hospitality, rigging, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment.
Vessel: 90 foot Skipper Liner Dinner Boat with twin CAT 3208s engines
Duties:
- Assist with the rigging and maintenance of the vessel
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests on board
- Prepare and serve meals for guests and crew
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vessel
- Assist with docking and undocking procedures
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on deck equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance tasks is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
