Duties

• Navigate assigned routes on foot with precision, ensuring prompt delivery and pickup of parcels in various locations.
• Operate standard passenger cars, pickup trucks, or other commercial vehicles as needed for transportation between destinations.
• Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Load and unload packages manually or with equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper handling techniques.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and safety records in compliance with company policies.
• Follow all safety procedures including heavy lifting, forklift operation (if applicable), and driving in adverse weather conditions to ensure personal and team safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, with familiarity in route driving and freight transportation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of GPS navigation tools, fleet GPS tracking systems, and mobile devices for route management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, or flatbeds is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
