Coach Bus Driver – Fort Lauderdale (FLL), FL
Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
We are a professional ground transportation company seeking experienced Coach Bus Drivers for our Fort Lauderdale / FLL operation. Most trips involve cruise terminal airport transfers, primarily serving Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL). This position requires frequent luggage loading and off-loading in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coach buses for cruise terminal airport transfers, charters, and contracted services
- Load and off-load large volumes of passenger luggage at cruise ports and airports
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and seating
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Comply with all DOT regulations, Hours-of-Service rules, and company policies
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and operational issues
Requirements
- Valid Florida CDL – Class A or Class B
- Passenger (P) Endorsement required
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum 2 years of commercial bus or motor coach driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirement)
- Physically able to load and off-load heavy luggage repeatedly throughout the shift
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot and humid South Florida conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and participate in random DOT testing
- Strong communication skills and professional, customer-focused attitude
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Port Everglades cruise operations
- FLL airport shuttle or cruise transfer experience
- Familiarity with Broward County and South Florida roadways
- High-volume passenger transfer or charter experience
