Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 30 PM - 8 : 00 AM, 3 days a week, 11.5-hour shifts, alternating weekends
Guaranteed Hours : 34.5 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of two years of experience in maternal and child care, including IV insertion and phlebotomy skills, and conscious sedation
License : New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification required
Certifications : AHA BLS, NRP certified
Must-Have : IV / Phlebotomy experience, NRP certification
Job Description :
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the ICU.
- Conduct IV insertions and perform phlebotomy as required.
- Administer conscious sedation under supervision and monitor patient responses.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive maternal and child care.
- Adhere to all protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in orientation and training programs as needed.
