- Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement and understanding
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing and formative evaluations, to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and special education professionals to support student success
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavioral health strategies
- Maintain accurate records of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), lesson plans, and student progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or specializations in special education are preferred
- Proven classroom experience across early childhood education, preschool, or K-12 settings
- Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and early intervention strategies
- Experience working with children with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or in deaf education is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and educational software applications
- Ability to implement behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and recreational therapy methods when needed
- Demonstrated skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional design
