District Manager- Daily Thread

The District Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Daily Thread by overseeing 5-8 retail locations within a designated market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the retail landscape and excellent leadership skills. The District Manager will be responsible for implementing store strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of high performance and customer satisfaction across all stores in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute market business strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets
• Lead and mentor Store Managers to enhance their performance and drive team engagement
• Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all stores
• Collaborate with senior field leaders to align market objectives with overall company goals
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across all locations
• Provide regular reports on market performance and key metrics to senior field leaders
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure effective recruitment, training, and development of store staff
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Drive promotional activities and events to increase brand awareness within the market
  
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a multi-store or District Manager role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software
• Ability to travel within the designated market area as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for retail and a customer-centric mindset
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best performance
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor
• Comfortable with using ladders or stairs.
