NYB International Inc. is a leading wholesale distributor of Designer Fragrances. Located in Edgewood, NY we are in business over 25 years distributing fine fragrances in USA and around the world.
We are currently seeking a full-time, in-person Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a professional who thrives in a supportive, family-oriented environment and is looking to grow with a stable organization.
Office Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM In-Person
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter purchase and sales orders into ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
- Perform data entry with speed and accuracy
- Basic bookkeeping
- Manage scanning, filing, and organizing of documents
- Answer incoming calls, assist clients, and take orders by phone
- Respond to client emails professionally and promptly
- Welcome office visitors and ensure a clean, professional front-office environment
- Support executive staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative/office experience in a professional business environment
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage or QuickBooks (required or strong working knowledge)
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry, digital file management)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree is a plus)
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $20.00 – $25.00 (based on experience and qualifications, room for growth)
- This is a full-time, in-person position (Edgewood, NY 11717)
