Solar Service Technician

A Solar Service Technician will ensure the performance and maintenance of solar energy systems, with expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and field service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including string downs and panels.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical issues within solar installations.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure new projects meet quality standards.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Provide on-site training and support to customers as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Experience in solar field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Basic electrical knowledge and ability to share insights
- Comfortable working on pitched rooftops
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Works well independently and in a team
- Effective communicator with customers and crew
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with heights and all weather conditions
