Role Overview
This is a dual-role position combining front office leadership with treatment coordination. You’ll be the face of the practice, managing patient flow, finances, and team communication — while also ensuring patients understand their treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day front office operations, scheduling, and administrative workflows
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, finances, and insurance
- Present and explain treatment plans clearly, professionally, and compassionately
- Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient handoffs and efficient scheduling
- Oversee billing, collections, and patient financial agreements
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care
- Maintain records, software systems (e.g., Dentrix), and communication logs
- Support practice goals by improving efficiency, tracking KPIs, and maintaining a 5-star patient experience
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in dental office management or treatment coordination (required)
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence in presenting and discussing finances and treatment plans with patients
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-end clinical environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Compensation range is $15–$30/hour, based on experience, education, past accommodations, and references
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or related field
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing
- Prior experience in a multi-specialty or high-end dental practice
