USCG 100-Ton (or Higher) Captain – New York Harbor
NY Skyline Cruises is seeking an experienced USCG 100-Ton Master Captain (or higher) with New York Harbor experience to join our growing sightseeing cruise operation based at Pier 36, Manhattan.
We are hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Captains for day shifts operating our Skipperliner passenger vessel.
Requirements
- Valid USCG Master 100-Ton License or higher
- Experience operating passenger vessels in New York Harbor is required
- Strong knowledge of local waterways, tides, traffic patterns, and docking procedures
- TWIC Card
- Current CPR/First Aid (preferred)
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Excellent safety record and commitment to USCG regulations
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a USCG-inspected passenger sightseeing vessel
- Navigate New York Harbor, including the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and surrounding waterways
- Supervise deck crew and ensure safe passenger operations
- Conduct pre-departure safety inspections and safety briefings
- Maintain compliance with all USCG and company safety procedures
- Deliver a professional experience for our guests
