Overview:
The PRO16 Girls Director is the primary leader and driving force behind the execution, recruitment, and strategic growth of the Girls Division within the PRO16 League. This role is first in command, responsible for aggressively recruiting high-quality programs and coaches, expanding the league's national footprint, and scaling the brand. We are seeking a high-impact, sales-minded leader with deep roots in girls' grassroots basketball who can command the division and translate strategic vision into elite-level tournament circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- High-Level Recruitment & Sales: Own the sales and recruitment pipeline for the Girls Division. Identify, pitch, and secure commitments from top-tier grassroots programs, elite clubs, and high-profile coaches to elevate the league's competitive stature.
- Circuit Ownership & Strategy: Define the overall growth strategy, season timelines, and operational roadmaps for the Girls PRO16 and NXTPRO divisions. Direct league initiatives to maximize team retention and brand loyalty.
- Relationship Management & Brand Representation: Serve as the face of the PRO16 Girls brand. Build and maintain high-level relationships with program directors, shoe-circuit partners, and facility vendors, ensuring a premium, professional experience.
- Cross-Department Command: Lead internal alignment across operations, content/media, and sales teams to ensure flawless event execution. Directly oversee and delegate tasks to the Assistant Director and regional event staff.
- CRM, Data Tracking & Analytics: Oversee the utilization of CRM systems (HubSpot) to track team pipelines, monitor recruitment metrics, and generate strategic reports for executive leadership to forecast league revenue and scale operations.
- On-Site Event Leadership: Travel to and command major PRO16 circuit events (March–July). Manage on-site logistics, troubleshoot high-level team or facility issues in real-time, and leverage live events for face-to-face recruitment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Numerous years of leadership experience in sports management, basketball operations, high-level sports sales, or sports marketing. A proven track record of successfully managing client pipelines or team recruitment is required.
- Basketball Network: Deep, established connections and credibility within the girls' grassroots basketball landscape (AAU, shoe circuits, high school elite programs).
- Sales & Tech Proficiency: Strong sales mindset with demonstrated experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track deals, manage contacts, and run data-driven sales campaigns.
- Communication & Authority: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills. Ability to confidently pitch to high-profile program directors and corporate partners.
- Travel & Location: Based in (or willing to relocate immediately to) Oklahoma City. Ability to travel extensively, including weekends, throughout the spring and summer tournament season.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing or directing a regional or national youth sports tournament circuit.
- Established relationships with college coaches and scouts to enhance the exposure aspect of the league.
- Strong understanding of corporate sponsorship activation and sports marketing strategies.

Salary and Compensation:
- Salary: $75,000 - $150,000 per year (Base salary commensurate with experience, heavily supplemented by target-driven commissions and performance bonuses).
