Position Overview

NXT Level Packaging is looking for a dependable and professional Part-Time Delivery Driver to handle local customer deliveries and vendor pickups throughout the Denver metro area.

This is a dedicated driving position, not a warehouse/driver hybrid role. The primary responsibility is safely and accurately delivering customer orders and completing vendor pickups using company vehicles, including a 26' box truck.

No CDL is required.

This position averages approximately 20 hours per week spread across 3 to 4 days, but the schedule will vary based on our daily delivery needs. We typically average 3–4 customer deliveries and 1–2 vendor pickups per day, but workload can fluctuate significantly. Some days may have little or no driving scheduled, while other days may require a full workday.

This position is best suited for someone looking for flexible, part-time daytime work who understands that weekly and daily hours will vary.

For employees interested in working additional hours, there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with assembly or production projects at our facility. These hours are optional and based on business needs.

Delivery & Logistics Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including a 26' box truck, to complete local customer deliveries and vendor pickups.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Verify products and quantities before leaving the warehouse to ensure delivery accuracy.
• Organize and secure loads to prevent damage during transportation.
• Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and on schedule.
• Obtain customer signatures, proof of delivery, and other required documentation.
• Complete vendor pickups and verify that the correct products and quantities have been received.
• Return delivery and pickup paperwork accurately to the appropriate team member.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance, safety concerns, delivery issues, or product discrepancies.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, DOT requirements, and applicable regulations.

Customer Service & Team Support

• Provide professional and friendly service while interacting with customers and vendors.
• Represent NXT Level Packaging professionally at customer and vendor locations.
• Build positive relationships with customers through dependable and courteous service.
• Communicate delivery delays, customer concerns, discrepancies, or other issues to the appropriate team member.
• Work closely with our operations and customer-service teams to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Be dependable and available as scheduled to support changing daily delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.
• CDL is not required.
• Previous delivery-driving experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a box truck, particularly a 24'–26' truck, strongly preferred.
• Comfortable driving throughout the Denver metro area.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload products weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Able to perform physical work including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing in and out of the truck, and loading/unloading throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery accuracy.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Ability to adjust to changes in delivery schedules and daily workload.
• Basic ability to use a smartphone/GPS and complete delivery documentation.
• Forklift or pallet-jack experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Hours

• Part-time, averaging approximately 20 hours per week
• Daytime/local delivery schedule
• Hours will vary depending on customer deliveries and vendor pickups
• Some days may have no scheduled route
• Other days may require a full workday
• Weekly hours are expected to fluctuate and are not guaranteed to be exactly 20 hours each week

We are looking for someone who values the flexibility of a part-time position and is comfortable with a schedule that changes based on daily business needs.

Optional Additional Hours

For employees who would like additional hours, there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with assembly, kitting, packaging, or production projects at our facility.

Participation in this work is optional and is not part of the primary Delivery Driver position. Additional hours will depend on available work and are not guaranteed.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
