Key Responsibilities
- Strategic sourcing:
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for IT software and IT services. Some hardware experience is helpful.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities
- Participate in supplier qualification and selection processes in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Supplier management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Cost management:
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Conduct spend analysis and develop strategies to optimize IT procurement costs
- Implement best practices to achieve cost saving targets and stay updated on industry trends to ensure NXP remains competitive
- Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and other relevant departments to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and standardization of procurement processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on IT categories
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Candidate must reside in Chandler, Arizona, or in Austin, Texas
- Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in office)
