Who you are:
The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting client accounts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and eager to solve problems while helping clients succeed.
What you will do:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks.
- Prepare and organize reports, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly close processes and support accountants as needed.
- Utilize Excel to create, update, and analyze financial spreadsheets.
- Identify discrepancies, research issues, and proactively suggest solutions.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with accounting standards.
What you offer:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks (required).
