Production/Warehouse Team Leader - 2nd shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Overtime: Mandatory Overtime, this could result in additional hours or days worked.
About the Role
NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. (NXAL) is looking for a motivated and dependable team leader to support daily production operations on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for helping lead associates, ensuring safety and quality standards are met and supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Lead and support warehouse/production associates during daily operations
- Assign work duties to ensure production schedules and customer needs are met
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIV) such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, etc.
- Monitor work processes to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
- Assist with problem solving and help resolve workplace concerns
- Use computers and Microsoft office programs to complete daily tasks and reporting.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by associates in your department.
- Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards and ensure that they are followed by associates within your assigned area.
- Provide effective and appropriate training to department associates and AE’s.
- Fill in for associates on process when needed or when on breaks to ensure production/business needs are still met.
- When necessary, this position may require overtime and may require performance of other functions as required to meet company/customer needs/requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience.
- Prior leadership or team lead experience is preferred.
- Forklift/PIV experience required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Possess traits of reliability and dependability.
- Ability to handle conflict professionally and support team morale.
- Flexibility to perform other job functions and work other hours, if necessary, to complete daily tasks and meet business/customer requests/needs.
