Production Supervisor
The NWI Nashville facility currently needs Production Supervisors to oversee assembly, machining, and process operations for our 1st and 2nd shifts. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of 10-20 employees in assembly or fabrication operations and will oversee and organize production schedules for quality, cost, and schedule, as well as communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives by assigning workflows to their team and reporting performance metrics to leadership.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Quality, Schedule, Cost, and Safety targets are achieved in a manner that meets the company’s goals
- Assist with solving manufacturing problems and the implementation of corrective actions
- Monitor safety conditions and practices in an assigned area
- Enforce compliance with quality requirements. Take corrective action for any deviation from quality standards or the quality management system
- Lead 5S and FOD initiatives
- Interpret work plans
- Develop work schedules and make assignments
- Monitor workflow and employee performance
- Conduct meetings and communicate information to small and large groups
- Report performance metrics to leadership
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Previous experience in production assembly environment – Aerospace preferred
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools
- Process-driven
- Effective computer skills including proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience using ERP/MRP systems. Epicor preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices – PPE, FOD, OSHA, SMS, ISO, MSDS, etc.
- Must be available to work different shifts: 1st, 2nd, and weekend
