Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Tow Truck Dispatcher to join our growing towing and recovery team. This role is responsible for coordinating tow truck drivers to accident scenes, breakdowns, and impound-related services while maintaining constant communication with local law enforcement, drivers, and the general public. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly under pressure, and understands the importance of compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch tow truck drivers to accident scenes, breakdowns, impounds, and service calls
- Maintain direct communication with city police departments and respond promptly to requests
- Coordinate daily operations between Fayetteville and Springdale locations
- Communicate continuously with drivers regarding locations, call updates, safety, and status
- Answer incoming calls from the general public, including customers retrieving vehicles from impound
- Explain towing, impound, and release procedures clearly and professionally
- Ensure all dispatch and impound processes comply with Arkansas State Tow Board rules and regulations
- Accurately document calls, tow details, vehicle information, and releases
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed (billing, invoicing, payment tracking)
- Handle high-stress situations calmly, including accident scenes and upset customers
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Prior dispatch experience preferred (towing, emergency services, or transportation a plus)
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English strongly encouraged)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Arkansas towing laws and regulations
- Basic computer skills and comfort with dispatch software
- Accounts receivable or billing knowledge is a plus
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented

Schedule
- Full-time position: M-F from 8am to 4pm.
- Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call coverage as needed
Pay: $800.00 - $950.00 per week
