Responsibilities
- Collect a wide range of specimens including blood, urine, saliva, and other biological samples following strict aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
- Prepare specimens for analysis by labeling accurately, processing appropriately, and documenting all collection details thoroughly.
- Maintain strict adherence to laboratory management standards, including proper storage, transportation, and disposal of specimens in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Assist in laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold optimal laboratory conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients across diverse populations to explain procedures and ensure cooperation.
- Follow all safety protocols related to infection control measures to protect yourself and others.
- Document all activities meticulously
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available weekends and outside of business hours for testing both at our facility and onsite at our clients location.
- Must be comfortable working with technology including tablets and desktop computers.
- Experience performing drug testing including regulatory testing desired
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
