Responsibilities

  • Collect a wide range of specimens including blood, urine, saliva, and other biological samples following strict aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
  • Prepare specimens for analysis by labeling accurately, processing appropriately, and documenting all collection details thoroughly.
  • Maintain strict adherence to laboratory management standards, including proper storage, transportation, and disposal of specimens in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Assist in laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold optimal laboratory conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients across diverse populations to explain procedures and ensure cooperation.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to infection control measures to protect yourself and others.
  • Document all activities meticulously

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available weekends and outside of business hours for testing both at our facility and onsite at our clients location.
  • Must be comfortable working with technology including tablets and desktop computers.
  • Experience performing drug testing including regulatory testing desired
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
