Job description:
Want to make a difference in someone's life? Looking for a PT schedule working 18-24 hours/week? You would be working with adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own homes. Caregiving experience helpful but not necessary! We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene
- Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
- Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks
- Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
- Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
- Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
- Document services provided using computer

- Work a 2 day on/2day off/every other weekend shift

Qualifications:Requirements:
- Be at least 18 Years or older
- Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints by hire date
- Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individuals
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have basic computer skills
- Have good problem solving skills working as a team
