We’re looking for a tech-savvy and solutions-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide temporary support to a busy Information Technology team. This full-time assignment will focus on end-user support, laptop provisioning, Microsoft 365 administration, IT documentation, and general operational support while helping ensure the continued delivery of core IT services.
SALARY: $38/HR-$40/HR
LOCATION: Portland, OR
SCHEDULE: 8am-5pm, Hybrid Schedule | 3 days WFH / 2 days on-site

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Triage and respond to end-user support requests and monitor the Help Desk process, assigning tickets to other IT team members as appropriate.
Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts through Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365.
Provision, deploy, monitor, maintain, and upgrade laptops, desktops, and other electronic devices.
Install and configure software and complete operating system, application, security, and endpoint protection updates.
Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and accurate technology records.
Support Asana administration and backend functions.
Utilize Microsoft PowerShell to assist with IT administration and operational needs.
Track and properly dispose of retired IT assets in accordance with company policies.
Provide additional user support and assist with other IT activities on an as-needed or backup basis.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience providing end-user, Help Desk, or IT support.
Experience with Microsoft 365 user and device administration.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell.
Experience with Asana administration and backend support.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to approach technical problems logically and methodically.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position involves working with laptops, desktops, and other electronic equipment, including provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets. Specific lifting, standing, walking, or other physical requirements were not provided.
