MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA
SALARY: $30.57–$38.44 per hour
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Flexibility scheduling worked mainly during normal office hours; some evening and weekend availability needed for seasonal community events, Temporary 2-3 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop engaging digital and visual content for public communications initiatives
- Write and edit clear, audience-focused messaging for web, social, and internal communications
- Assist with social media engagement and content planning
- Capture photo and video content at community programs and events
- Support communications projects and collaborate with staff across departments
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 years’ communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related experience
- Strong written communication and editing skills with attention to tone and accuracy
- Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
- Experience with photography and videography.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and video editing tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is performed in a professional office setting with occasional event-based responsibilities.
- Some local travel and extended hours for community events may be required.
