What You'll Do
As our General Supervising Electrician, you will serve as the Responsible Managing Electrician (RME) for the company while helping establish operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the company's licensed General Supervising Electrician in compliance with Oregon BCD requirements.
- Oversee electrical work to ensure compliance with NEC, Oregon Electrical Specialty Code, and all applicable regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to journeyman electricians and apprentices.
- Assist in hiring, training, and developing a growing electrical team.
- Review estimates, project scopes, and work orders for technical accuracy.
- Develop quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures.
- Support dispatch and scheduling to maximize technician efficiency.
- Conduct jobsite inspections and quality assurance reviews.
- Maintain licensing compliance and support continuing education requirements.
- Work closely with company leadership to help grow the electrical division.
Typical Work
Our team primarily performs:
- Multifamily maintenance and service calls
- Commercial electrical maintenance
- Property management electrical repairs
- Lighting upgrades and retrofits
- Panel replacements and troubleshooting
- EV charger installations
- Tenant improvements
- Common area renovations
- Preventative maintenance
- Emergency service work
- Small commercial remodels
Qualifications
Required:
- Oregon General Supervising Electrician License
- Excellent knowledge of NEC and Oregon Electrical Code
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience supervising electricians and apprentices
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Experience in multifamily maintenance
- Commercial service experience
- Experience with estimating or project management
- Experience building or leading electrical teams
- Familiarity with service management software such as Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or similar platforms
