Facility Maintenance Technician

NW Industrial Staffing is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a long-standing, family-owned civil contractor to provide various maintenance services inside and outside of the facilities and company property.

What we are seeking:

• 3 years of industrial or commercial facility management experience
• Support basic HVAC, AC, plumbing & mechanical systems; replace filters & supplies as needed
• Strong knowledge of safety standards for building maintenance with an understanding of OSHA and MSHA regulations for industrial facilities.
• Good troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues and resolving problems.
• Must have a driver’s license to drive between various divisions and shops to resolve issues and perform maintenance.
• Previous experience performing routine facility maintenance: Inspections, repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas, including paint, drywall, carpentry, and structural repairs.
• Ability to manage vendors to obtain supplies and services, including trash, recycling, deliveries, electrical issues, and janitorial supplies
• Great verbal and written communication for documenting maintenance logs and coordinating repair activities.
• Assist with seasonal tasks and respond to emergency repairs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Can lift 50lbs on an occasional basis and stand, stoop, bend, push, pull, and walk for an 8-hour shift.

JOB DETAILS

Location: Eugene, OR 97408

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Pay Range: $22-$26/h DOE
