About the Role:
NW Home Maintenance LLC is a general contractor specializing in maintaining vacant residential assets. We are seeking several skilled Field Technicians to secure, winterize , and preserve REO properties. This is a W-2 employee position offering steady hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Winterization: Use an air compressor and generator to blow out water lines and apply RV antifreeze to prevent freeze damage.
- Property Securing: Change locks, install bank-coded deadbolts, and board up broken windows.
- Debris Removal: Perform "trash-outs" and interior cleaning to bring homes to market-ready status.
- Documentation: Capture 100 "Before, During, and After" photos per site with your smart phone.
- Other preservation tasks as needed.
2026 Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Wage: $22.00 per hour to start. Raised to $25 after satisfactorily completing the 90-day orientation.
- Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursement at the 2026 IRS rate of 72.5 cents per mile, when applicable.
- Monthly Stipend: $250.00 Tool & Tech Stipend provided to cover the use and maintenance of your personal equipment, tools, vehicle and mobile data plan.
Out-of-Town Travel: If overnight trips are necessary, we provide:
- Paid Travel Time: All time spent traveling is paid at your regular hourly rate (in lieu of mileage reimbursement).
- Reimbursement: 100% reimbursement for pre-approved lodging and a daily meal per diem.
Statutory Benefits: Accrued Paid Sick Leave and access to WA Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML).
Required Equipment (Must provide your own):
- Vehicle: Reliable truck or van capable of hauling tools and debris.
- Preservation Kit: Portable generator, air compressor (with gauge), cordless drill set, Shop-Vac, and lawn maintenance gear, etc.
- Supplies: Non-toxic RV antifreeze, padlocks, caps, door knobs, etc reimbursed at 100% with provided receipts, and pre-approval.
- Tech: Modern smartphone with GPS.
