Job Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled, hard working, and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will bring your expertise in carpentry to execute a number of upcoming jobs with any ranging from residential remodels to Bathroom installs. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction techniques will contribute to delivering high-quality results on time and within scope. Must be able to pass a drug test and background test.
Duties
- Will work directly with the Forman on site to compete task pertaining to current job
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
- Build, install, repair structures such as windows, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment; maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter with a strong background in general carpentry (construction, framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and industry practices with ability to work independently.)
- Proficient with hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws); capable of fabricating custom components when necessary.
- Experience working on construction sites with safety-conscious practices; ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
- Must be a hard working go getter who can perform all general contracting task when given to them.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
