CDL Class B Roll-Off Driver – Brand New Automatics, Home Daily

Job Type: Full-time (Overtime available)
Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | 8 to 10-hour shifts | Saturday availability

Your Daily Duties & Responsibilities
- Container Management: Pick up, switch, and deliver 20, 30, and 40-yard roll-off containers at residential sites, commercial sites, and recycling facilities.
- Site Maneuvering: Safely back up and maneuver large trucks into tight or challenging loading and unloading positions on various job sites.
- Disposal Operations: Drive to disposal sites, manually open and close container doors, safely dump loads, and close/latch doors properly before leaving.
- Rigorous Inspections: Perform full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Inspect every single container for defects, damage, or safety hazards before hauling. [1]
- Dispatch & Scale Talk: Maintain constant communication with dispatchers and scale personnel at disposal sites via cell phone, GPS apps, and electronic equipment.
- Compliance & Reporting: Comply with all DOT regulations (weight limits, size restrictions, route designations, and mandatory break periods). Immediately report any vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
What We Need From You (Must-Haves)
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (and ability to pass a background check and drug screen).
- Physical Ability: Able to climb metal truck ladders, secure tarps, and manually operate heavy container doors.
- Tech Literacy: Comfortable using basic smartphone apps, GPS software, and communication tools.
- Professionalism: A friendly, respectful attitude with customers, dispatchers, and site scale operators.
Great to Have (Preferred)
- 1 year of Roll-off truck driving experience.
- 2 years of overall commercial truck driving experience.
