Job Summary
NW Bloom is seeking a dedicated Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate ecological landscaping activities. The ideal candidate will lead and assist a team in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring they are executed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct and work with crew members in daily tasks
- Maintain and build landscapes according to project plans
- Perform maintenance including plant care and irrigation
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards
-Communicates with clients, project manager, designer - works as a team
- Train new team members on proper techniques and safety procedures
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively guide and motivate a team
- Proficiency in landscape construction practices and landscape maintenance
- Ability to supervise crew members and delegate tasks accordingly
- Knowledge of pruning, irrigation systems, and general landscaping techniques including hardscaping: patios, retaining walls, stair construction, planting, drainage, rain gardens, carpentry etc
-Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of permaculture, forest restoration or regenerative agriculture a plus.
