Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Level 1 to join our property management team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our residential/commercial properties. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management team.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure property assets are well-maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company standards and safety regulations.
• Support senior maintenance staff with larger projects and specialized repairs as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or property damages to management immediately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
