Maintenance Tech

**Position:** Maintenance Technician (Contract to Hire)

**Location:** Bethesda, MD

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

**Tools:** Candidate must have their own tools

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operational integrity of our facility in Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will assist the Maintenance Superintendent in ensuring the physical integrity, safety, and functionality of the premises through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist the Maintenance Superintendent in performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

- Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all maintenance activities.

- Support ongoing facility improvement projects and assist with setups for events or special functions.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and maintenance equipment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance status and concerns.
