Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience analyzing Public Works Department program and budgetary requirements.
- Experience in providing budget policy and procedures, budget formulation assumptions, formats and schedules to program managers for budget submissions as prepared by the Financial Management support line.
- Experience in comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Public Works Department budget formation process, both Working Capital Fund and General Fund, to ensure that budget forecasts, estimates and submissions conform to requirements and financial objectives.
- Experience in DOD Planning, Programming and Budgeting Systems (PPBS), its process, products, terminology and guidance documents.
- Experience in automated data processing concepts, systems capabilities and economic usage to effectively complete assignments. Tracking the incoming revenue, obligation and expenditure of funds.
- Experience in preparing a variety of reports covering the status of funds and advises the Public Works Officer/Deputy Public Works Officer on the availability of funds for the Public Works Department.
- Experience in budgeting for the following specific funds; NWCF, BSO52, investment and O&MN, O&MNR.
