Job Title: Janitor
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8AM- 12PM
Job Summary:
A Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of buildings, facilities, and public spaces. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors.
Education: GED
Experience: 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities:
● Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and shampoo carpets as needed.
● Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
● Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
● Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
● Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs.
● Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in working order.
● Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
● Report any maintenance or safety issues to management for prompt resolution.
● Respond to cleaning emergencies and requests in a timely manner.
● Be able to lift up to 15lb.
● Walk upstairs if necessary.
● Employees are required to be available to escort subcontractors and/or management as necessary, and promptly respond to inquiries from both supervisors and subcontractors.
● Travel if needed or upon supervisor’s request.
