NVR, Inc. is seeking a Tax Accountant on-site in Reston, VA

Summary
As a Tax Accountant, you will support non-income and income tax compliance and reporting, including Sales & Use tax, Personal Property tax, Business Licenses, Annual Reports, and Income tax filings. You’ll also assist with audits, tax planning, and process improvements to reduce risk and cost.
Key Job Responsibilities
Prepare and file state and local tax returns and maintain compliance calendars.
Monitor tax rate changes and review invoices for proper tax treatment.
- Respond to vendor requests for exemption certificates.
- Compile documentation and participate in audits.
- Assist with tax budgets, variance analysis, and reserve reconciliations.
Recommend process improvements and support ad hoc tax projects.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of tax compliance or related accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
Ability to work on-site at our Reston, VA corporate office.
