Summary

As a Lead Azure Cloud Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor within a dynamic, cross-functional engineering team, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of our Azure cloud infrastructure. In this strategic role, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Technology Leaders, Managers, and cross-disciplinary teams, including development, operations, and security—to architect and maintain a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environment. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Azure infrastructure, cloud security best practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), along with a strong commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Azure resources across environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure and deploy hybrid solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize Azure infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues escalated from the Help Desk or identified during design and development phases.
• Stay up to date with emerging Azure technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including requirements, architecture diagrams, design specifications, and test plans.
• Experience with M365, Intune, PP&C, UEM, and IAM is a strong plus.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Services Models (Serverless, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience with cloud security, best practices and compliance (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Policy) and Azure Cost Optimization.
• Must have Azure certifications (Azure Administrator is a minimum)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
