Production Planner

This position will be onsite at 6100 Romona Blvd, Houston, TX 77086.

What You Will Experience In This Position

• Generates production schedules and prioritizes work orders to ensure production optimization.
• Adjusts schedules according to work order specifications, material, machines, equipment, and staffing.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan, and facilitate on-time materials to the production line and avoid disruptions to production.
• Prepares documentation related to production sequences, transportation, staffing schedules, and purchase, maintenance, and repair orders as necessary
• Evaluates production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator load.
  
  

You Have

• In-depth knowledge and experience in own discipline
• Solves a range of complex problems takes a new perspective using existing solutions
• Works Independently, Receives minimum guidance and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Has wide latitude for independent judgement
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs preferred, knowledge of general manufacturing facilities health and safety policies and procedures preferred.
