As a Warehouse Material Handler in our Dayton distribution center you will perform a variety of warehouse and material movement activities to ensure customer orders, inventory, and warehouse needs are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant distribution center operations.
Shift Hours are: 6:00AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range
$14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.

As a Warehouse Material Handler in our Dayton distribution center you will perform a variety of warehouse and material movement activities to ensure customer orders, inventory, and warehouse needs are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant distribution center operations.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform receiving, picking, checking, and loading activities in accordance with SOPs and work instructions
- Accurately complete system transactions to maintain inventory integrity
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, shrink wrappers, dock equipment, and related tools
- Conduct required equipment safety checks and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Support material flow including put-away, replenishment, and line service activities
- Meet established productivity, quality, and safety performance standards
- Forklift experience (required, stand-up Crown preferred)
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Skill in safely operating material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized work instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
