General Accounting Associate

What You Will Experience In This Position

• Code vendor invoices and verify correct general ledger account codes.
• Maintain freight costs on current projects to ensure they are properly billed to the customer.
• Accrue open invoices at month end when necessary.
• Reconcile accounts to general ledger accounts as directed.
• Generate month-end reports.
• Assist with monthly closing.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and managers.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Perform other administrative tasks as directed.
  
  

You Have

• 2 years of relevant accounting experience; Business/Accounting degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Workday experience preferred.
• Project-based accounting a plus.
