Assembly Operator Lead - 3rd Shift

We are seeking a Team Lead to support the Production Supervisor in daily operations and ensure uninterrupted production flow of 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) Assembly Operations. This role is critical to supporting our production goals, supporting a safe culture, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth production flow by supporting and coaching team members.
• Coordinate and execute employee training to meet quality standards.
• Provide problem-solving support and communicate effectively with support resources to resolve issues.
• Act as a change agent to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Enforce company and departmental policies consistently.
• Operate equipment relevant to the area (e.g., CRTs, forklifts).
• Manage timely and accurate material movement within the work area.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ideally 3–5 years of production experience, including experience within Paint operations preferred.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient in Windows applications and ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work regular overtime up to 2 hours after shift end and Fridays as required.
  
  

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $23.90 - $29.50 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
